It's Year of the Sheep!


Come and celebrate Chinese New Year 2015 from Feb 13 - 22, with an exclusive traditional menu in our dining room.

Pork Dumplings
Marinated minced pork is wrapped and pan fried to perfection.

Crispy Skin Chicken
Tender chicken under a crispy layer of non-battered skin and served with shrimp flavoured chips. (Whole chicken serves 3-4 persons or half serves 2-3 persons.

Mandarin Shrimps
Dusted shrimps are wok-fried with a sweet citrus mango sauce.
Served with blanched broccoli to keep Mom happy.

Fat Choy Fish "Prosperous Fish"
Pacific white fish lightly battered and served with citrus lemon sauce and shrimp flavoured chips

HOORAY!!    Our new front entrance is now open, just in time for the holiday season.

Time for family gatherings, office parties and good times for all.  Don’t want to cook?  Reserve with us.  Private rooms are available for small parties in the VIP room (seats 20) or in the Red Room (max of 50).   Remember we are open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 to 2pm.

We will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day to allow our staff to enjoy the holidays with their families. Phone early for reservations for December 24, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Suzanne Mah Memorial Golf Tournament

The Blue Willow Restaurant and the Mah Family hosted the fifth annual Suzanne Mah Memorial Golf Tournament on September 7, 2014 to raise funds for the Suzanne Mah Lite House Library located at the Cross Cancer Institute

This year, we decided to have a silent auction as well as a raffle.   In total, we made $5000 (about $1000 more than last year) for Lite House (Humor Library) at Cross Cancer Institute.

Although the weather was cool & it showered a bit, all 84 golfers toughed it out and had fun with the novelty holes.  Prizes were great and everybody had a chance to win the big items.  Darryl Havrelock, Oil King Alumni, ex-WHA referee, gave an interesting recount of some of his experiences with Mark Messier’s father (Doug) and other hockey personnel.  He also presented the donated Oil King Alumni golf bag to a lucky winner.    

Come join us next year on August 30, 2015 for a fun day and most importantly, for a good cause.

                             The Blue Willow Restaurant is hosting its 5th Annual Suzanne Mah Memorial Texas Scramble Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 7, 2014.The proceeds go towards the Suzanne Mah Lite House Library at the Cross Cancer Institute. Attention all food lovers! Come visit us at the Taste of Edmonton this year from July 17-26 at Churchill Square.  Enjoy the sights and sounds, and of course, all of the delicious food! You'll be able to grab a bite of our famous Pineapple Chicken ( served with a side of rice) and our sweet dessert known as Chinese Orange Tangerine Sandwich. We look forward to seing you there!
