On January 4, 2020, Blue Willow Restaurant joined Servus Credit Union and the Karen Society in their New Year celebration, Year 2759.
The Karen Community is made up of immigrants from Burma, now known as Myanmar. Many came to Canada as refugees and have contributed to our city.
Blue Willow with the Karen Community Association awarded four young students with scholarships and gift certificates. We congratulate the junior and high school students—Soe Say Taw, Kler Khu Gay, Atomic, Ehlertha Po — who were recognized for their academic accomplishments.
